Harley's birthday is just getting more and more dangerous.

Fighting against an horde of assassins along with her friends will make Harley realize there needs to be someone more competent in charge of her city and she's the one perfect for the job.

The traditional format for this series returns and works for the better in that regard.

Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner bring the conclusion of this little arc about Harley's birthday by making it as brutal and violent as possible. The usual gory stuff from this book is here and in full form, mind you, is all cartoony violence so is so over-the-top that you it doesn't offend your senses too much. The characterization is also enjoyable and is always nice to see Harley, Ivy and Selina at the same time.

Plus, the lack of the second segment means that there's much more content in this issue. Several different segments of the plot are being developed which creates a pretty dense read.

John Timms handles the artwork and he's ideal for the gory moments although at some points he gets a bit too... detailed with the bloody effects.

Still entertaining, excited for the new arc.
