Some thoughts about Nightwing #27

Old friends are coming for Nightwing.

Dick is surprised at finding out that his ex-partner, Tiger is coming for him but there might be more behind Spyral's attack.

Spyral is revisited and it feels so good.

Tim Seeley brings a new chapter where he brings back the classic Grayson series feel in several ways. The appearance of characters of Spyral is great fanservice for people who are familiar with Seeley's previous work, especially because of how much the writer understands them as well as the relationship they created with the protagonist.

The contrast between Grayson and Nightwing are being explored as well by stating what makes both series different and how Dick's perspective changed in both books. That coupled with solid pacing and a compelling and fun twist makes this a quite enjoyable read.

Javier Fernandez remains in art duties and his work is still quite solid with a great storytelling skill and a polished look.

Satisfying chapter once again, excited for the next one.
