Batgirl will have to solve a case from her past.

Barbara and Dick can't help but remember how a person they met before is connected to the people who are being controlled today.

Well, this was enjoyable enough.

Hope Larson continues her story focusing mostly on the relationship between Babs and Dick. Their interactions are pretty much spot-on since the writer explores some of the strongest aspects of both and it was pretty surprising to see how competent Dick is portrayed here by showcasing his kindness and intelligence. Babs also get her own solid moments as well.

This comes a bit at the expense of the story though since is not really interesting by itself and the characters that are introduced here are not compelling enough to be invested into. Then again, that has been one of Larson's problems since the beginning.

Chris Wildgoose's artwork manages to sell the weak plot though thanks to his vibrant semi-cartoony style that gets the best from character expressions and storytelling.

Not bad from a characterization point at least, let's see how this concludes in the next one.
