Marlowe's team is about to recruit a new member and the world is about to see the war between two secret organizations.
This book SERIOUSLY needs to be biweekly or, you know, at least release in FRIKKING TIME!
This issue is once again not bad per se, there's a decent amount of info dump that doesn't feel so much as info dump due to the personality that Warren Ellis is able to inject in the characters while introducing new members of the cast that are bound to become more relevant. The plot progression is slow but at the very least is there.
That being said, is not enough. This is by far one of the slowest books on the market today and while I'm getting annoyed by it, I can't help but feel like there's still something special going on here. The writing is smart and is clearly building-up to something, new questions are presented without clear answers and the cinematic style that Ellis creates during the action scenes is worth watching (then again, is another reason why the story moves at a snail pace).
Jon Davis-Hunt remains in art duties and his work is once again, perfect for the script's tone due that he's able to follow the plot with a lot of detail in both settings and storytelling.
Don't know how to feel about this, I wish this was released more frequently one way or another because even despite that this is supposedly a monthly title, this gets often delayed and makes the pacing look even worse. Hope things get better.
