Can the Joker save Gotham City?

Jack Napier is finally sane and is ready to make his city a better place but some people won't allow that to happen.

The story is getting more and more interesting.

Sean Murphy offers a new installment where he continues to explore how the Joker would act if he got his sanity back. Mind you, some aspects are not as terrible for him as it is in the usual continuity due that this particular incarnation of the Joker didn't actually commit as many atrocities as the regular one so he's easier to forgive (although it makes things a bit too easy for him). Murphy uses this opportunity to create social commentary about how society would forgive even the worst psychopath these days as long as it fits with their ideology so is an interesting concept in that regard.

However, there are a few heavyhanded concepts like how Murphy uses this as an opportunity to show his dislike for the DCEU Harley Quinn by making the DCAU Harley kick her ass which is an interesting concept in and of itself but is ultimately a bit too on the nose. The study behind her relationship with the Joker is more interesting though and plays with classic themes of him and Batman.

Speaking of which, Bruce also receives solid moments that seem to be progressing his own side of the story and fortunately doesn't portray him in a negative light to make the Joker look better.

Murphy's artwork is amazing. A great dark style that makes every scenario distinctive and tells the story perfectly.

Solid read, need to see more of this.
