Marc's multiple personalities are finally in control or at least that's what he thinks since one of them is apparently keeping secrets in the worst time possible.
This is well-written as a whole but I have a few nitpicks about it.
Max Bemis offers a new chapter where he finally focuses on Marc himself and the events that happened after he finally beat Khonshu. Bemis uses Khonshu as yet another part of Marc's personalities just like Jeff Lemire did during his run but this time Bemis goes full with the premise and expands it to give each one of them their own voice to show how distinct they're from one another and in fact this allows for interesting and actually funny scenes where the personalities start talking with one another.
That being said, my interpretation of the end of Lemire's run was that Marc destroyed Khonshu as a symbolism of him getting rid of the most negative aspects of his condition so Khonshu shouldn't be able to exist anymore. Then again, is also adequate that Khonshu appears again since one can't truly get rid of those aspects enterily, is just that I wasn't expecting him to appear so soon.
The plot still manages to get a nice pace along with good content and an interesting surprise at the end.
Jacen Burrows remains in art duties and his work is still beautiful thanks to his clean and expressive style that gets the best from characters and storytelling.
Solid and let's hope it continues this way.
