Humanity is collapsing.

People are trying to live their lives despite of the circunstances but different anomalies will put the entire race in peril.

Sadly, this didn't work so well.

Jimmy Palmiotti offers a new chapter where he focuses mostly on character work as well as a bit of plot progression. The characterization is decent enough but not particularly deep, it mostly involves George and his role about keeping his family and the rest of the people safe but while it does evaluate how this affects humanity in a sense of scale, it doesn't create much development for the cast. I mean, there are a few moments that show their personalities and a couple of charming scenes between George and Jane but aside from that, I found most of what happens here kinda dull.

That being said, there's a sense of danger that keeps increasing with each new chapter, about how what is left of the world could end in any moment and the way that is presented gets the message across decently. Sadly, the story itself doesn't progress much and it mostly seems like an interlude issue.

Pier Brito's artwork can be a mixed bag. It tells the story solidly but the style is not that appealing to look at and the characters are not that beautiful either.

Not bad, just boring. Hope the next one is better.
