Some thoughts about Justice League #35
Can the Justice League fight against the people they're trying to save?A new alien infestation has come to Earth but the team will suddenly realize that the world is a bigger problem for them at the moment.
This is getting pretty interesting.
Christopher Priest offers a new installment where he continues to develop the ramifications of the last one including the fact that the group failed at preventing a death. The character work is pretty solid and all of this is thanks to the little lines that depict perfectly the personalities from the main cast while the scenes the present social commentary seem really genuine and also depict really complex scenarios concerning race and terrorism.
Even the action segments show a lot of creativity thanks to the inventive nature of threat and how the JL manages to deal with it. This comes with a few problems though and those are still the pacing since it can be a bit erratic at times. Priest includes a lot of content but the way how such content flows is not the best.
Pete Woods handles the art and is quite good looking thanks to his beautiful characters and vibrant style.
Quite compelling read, not perfect but still really compelling.
