Can Rorschach warn Batman of the threat before is too late?

The Comedian is back to life somehow and is ready to enact his revenge on Ozymandias. Meanwhile, a strange occurrence is taking place in an asylum.

A new chapter of this powerful event arrives and is just as strong as ever.

Geoff Johns brings a new installment where he explores several different segments and does it in a pretty intriguing way. The Comedian's return is being explored as a mystery, not so much because of the way he did since that's pretty evident but because of why it happened, and the fight between Ozymandias and him is really satisfying considering the history between the two, even Johns makes fun of the situation a few times. Is pretty much a fanfiction on comic paper and I say this as a compliment.

The scenes focusing on Mime and Marionette are entertaining as always. Once again, Johns really knows how to make new characters shine and he plays with expectations about their own abilities and what they could find in their way.

The dynamic between Batman and Rorschach is equally as enjoyable and even funny at times while Johns explore more about Rorschach's background although the ending ends-up being really dark, even for Batman.

Plus, the writer is also setting-up the return of one of his favorite teams and is explored in a manner that is actually reminiscent of the original Watchmen story.

Gary Frank's artwork is outstanding. The storytelling is glorious, the way how the segments transition from one to another is pretty creative and compelling to see while the characters' expressions tell a lot about their personalities and situations.

Fantastic read once again, easily the best of the week.
