The Joker has just learned that Bruce is going to get married and he's not willing to let things go on they way they do now.
Here we go again, the beginning of yet another heavily hyped event in Batman books by Tom King and you already know how things go.
The first thing that you will notice is of course, the dialogue which makes the Joker sound much more annoying than he usually is, hell, it makes him sound much DUMBER than he usually by murdering people without any rhyme or reason. Mind you, you might that's the whole Joker schtick but at the same time the way how the events are presented make it seem like he didn't plan anything and is just making things as he goes which goes completely against how he has been portrayed in previous stories. As much as I dislike Snyder's overpowered Joker, I think I prefer him to this.
There are a few interesting ideas though but as usual, they're not presented in a way that fits into the story logically, it feels like King had a session of brainstorming and simply said: "Yeah, this will do" ironically without having a good idea about how to implement them into the plot.
Mikel Janin's artwork continues to shine though, beautiful characters and perfect storytelling. No complaints here.
On the other hand, this story already started awkwardly so I'm setting my expectations low.
