Can the curse of Brimstone be destroyed?

Annie is trying to find a way to cure Joe but once that they find another person who has suffered a similar fate, they will realize this is more difficult than they could have expected.

This series continues and is still pretty enjoyable as a whole.

Justin Jordan offers us yet another installment where he focuses on character work and plot progression. Jordan plays immediately with the ramifications of the last issue about the destruction of Joe and Annie's whole town and the death of their father, the little character moments concentrating on this aspect are subtle and get the job done, it makes you think if they're simply trying to ignore such fact to avoid the pain which makes their connection and relationship much stronger than before.

The story also introduces a new character with a very similar background as Joe's. This strangely enough, is the first time we see the connection with the Metal event and how this is related to the Salesman who created the curse, I'm glad that this reference barely appears since I feel like this book works better as a stand-alone story. The action that occurs here also helps to develop the characters in sympathetic manners.

Eduardo Pansica handles the art and is really solid due that he offers much more clarity than Phillip Tan's work while his characters are more expressive and appealing.

Good read, hope the next one is equally as good.
