Jason has learnt the truth about his father and all of this is the Penguin's fault. Now he will be forced to go against Batman's rules and take another life.

Another issue, another satisfying read.

Scott Lobdell offers a new intallment that plays with the ramifications of the last emotional one. The story opens bizarrely enough appropriately since Bizarro is watching a movie about what the Outlaws could be and it's actually a pretty interesting idea that takes us to the early days of this team and makes me wonder what could happen if it becomes real.

This is intentionally created to contrast with the dark reality that Jason is facing based on the fate of his father. This immediately puts him in conflict with the Penguin and takes him to a road that he swore not to take and inevitably will put him in a conflict with his other father.

Dexter Soy and Alisson Borges share the pencils and they do a pretty good job during their respective segments, Soy remains the strongest thanks to his wonderful storytelling and characters but Borges still follows him appropriately.

Great read, it was mostly a set-up for what's about to come but it was really good.
