Aztek has contacted Diana to help her on a mission that she can't take by herself and to do so, Diana will also have to ask the help of one of her oldest sisters.
This run continues and thankfully is still pretty solid.
Steve Orlando opens a new chapter and storyarc focusing on one of his favorite characters. The appearance of Aztek here makes a lot of sense considering her involvement in Orlando's Justice League of America series (as flawed as it was) and even some of the events from that book are addressed like the Justice Foundation. Another thing that are logical are the Grant Morrison concepts here, Orlando has always been a big fan of Morrison and he shows a lot of appreciation for his ideas here and in a way that are much more successful than what he did during his JLA work.
The cast is solidly portrayed. The writer seems to have a good handle of Diana due that he depicts her as comprehensive and compassionte as she should be. The appearance of Artemis is also handled properly due that his history with the Outlaws is acknowledged and implemented into the story in a way that makes sense.
ACO is in charge of the pencils and really, he's the best collaborator that Orlando could have. He has always shown a good way to implement Orlando's ideas into the art in a way that makes them much more creative thanks to the inventive panels and storytelling.
Pretty good chapter, hope the story stays this way.
