Can the West Coast Avengers deal with their new enemy?

B.R.O.D.O.K. proclaims that he just wants to help the team but they know there's something more behind his words and they might be right once that the attacks become even worse.

Second issue and aside from a few predictable choices, this is rather enjoyable.

Kelly Thompson brings a new installment where she plays with the dynamics of the team as well as with the story. The plot doesn't take itself seriously, like, at all. For one, the cast is completely aware that B.R.O.D.O.K. is a villain based on previous experience with similar antagonists and Thompson implements that idea in an entertaining way by making the team humour him while the Hawkeyes investigate more about him. The dialogue once again works appropriately thanks to the fun lines.

That being said, some tropes can irk me. For example, Quentin Quire and Gwenpool have been arguing since the last issue and I just KNEW they were going to end-up together and it actually happens in this issue. This is an incredibly annoying cliche and I wish that authors realized that there are better ways to create a dynamic between a man and a woman than "Oh, they seem to hate each other but they secretly like each other", is just derivative in the most obnoxious way.

Stefano Caselli handles the art and is beautiful once again thanks to his semi-cartoony style, strong storytelling and expressive characters.

Good read aside from the things that bother me the most.
