Some thoughts about The Flash #56

How can The Flash survive in the mind of a Rogue?

The Sage Force has possessed Heatwave and Barry will find himself in a completely different situation from he was expecting.

The story took an interesting turn.

Joshua Williamson delivers a new installment where he continues to explore the nature of the Sage Force. We learned during the last issue that the Sage Force worked differently from the Strength Force but here we realize how different they actually are due that the former works in another level that affects the mind of the user and even others around it.

Best of all is the portrayal of Heatwave. Williamson has always demonstrated a great understanding of The Flash history and here he does it once again with his take on the classic Rogue which is heavily based on Geoff Johns' version and takes him to another level once again by creating a logical development for him.

Scott Kolins handles the art and he's a logical choice at depicting a Rogue's story due that is very reminiscent to his work with Johns during their run. Pretty detailed overall.

Good read, hope the conclusion is satisfying.
