What are the Blackstars' plans?

Evil Star is killing people everywhere and the Blackstars believe they can use him for their objectives. Meanwhile, Hal will have to find out about the recent murders of his colleagues.

This story continues follows an expected yet interesting path.

Grant Morrison offers a new installment and shows how strange the universe can be. As I mentioned in the last chapter, Morrison is really fixated in bring back the "alien" feel to Green Lantern and this is alien all right, at least from a creature stand-point, I mean, there's a Green Lantern with an erupting volcano for a head for God's sake (which I'm not even sure about the logic of his existence but whatever), is just bizarre and surprisingly fitting for this book.

The space cop aspect of the book is also nicely emphasized with Hal interrogating suspects in an appropriate way while also demonstrating more of his own personality. Speaking of personality, Evil Star appears as one of the antagonists and he's comically evil, he's basically a buffoon with too much power, not too complex but entertaining enough and makes what happens to him much more satisfying.

Liam Sharp remains in art duties and his work remains a fitting choice due that he's able to follow the sci-fi direction of the title appropriately and even his style is sorta reminiscent of old comics in the genre. The storytelling is not so good though due that some panels don't follow the script as well as they should.

Good read overall, hope things continue this way.
