What is the origin of Valentine?

Something brought a kid to this family to destroy it but things won't go as planned since Valentine is ready to choose his own path.

This miniseries concludes and shows how messed-up this story and world are.

Brian Bendis delivers a final chapter where the classic emotion and dilemmas from this title play a big factor. The battle between The United States and The Family is felt over the whole nation and the repercussions are pretty clear in terms of politics and its people, and this is all the beginning.

Most importantly though, is how these affects the characters. The backstory of Valentine's mother is pretty predictable from a premise standpoint since is the classic tale of how a girl falls in love with a bad boy but what is not predictable at all is the result since Valentine takes his own conclusion about his roots and decides to take a pretty cold-hearted response and action, one that is understandable from his perspective but doesn't stop it from being cruel. That's the thing about this book, the line of right and wrong is really blurry.

Michael Avon Oeming remains in art duties and once again, his cartoony style is pretty flexible and allows for a lot of great emotions and storytelling.

Good finale although this is not really the end since a new miniseries called The United States of Murder Inc. Vs. The Vatican is about to come and hopefully will be just as good.
