Some thoughts about Adventures of the Super Sons #8
Can the Super Sons escape from the Prison Planet?Rex Luthor is starting to create his own Injustice Army and there's very little that Robin and Superman can do against a horde of supervillains.
Yeah, this is getting a bit repetitive admitedly.
Peter Tomasi brings another chapter suited in the Prison Planet and it's really dragging. The same basic idea of this little arc is still being implemented like little supervillains going after the Super Sons and them trying to get away from this whole place. The thing is that we have seen this same premise for a while now and this issue doesn't offer much new to compensate for that.
There are a few things to appreciate here though like the usual characterization and interactions between the cast but aside from that, the content is kinda lacking.
Carlo Barberi's artwork is still really energetic and flexible, ideal for a young book.
Not much to see here but hopefully the next one will be better.
