Mr. Mxyzptlk has arrived with a warning to the entire planet that there's something even more dangerous than his own Dimension and something that could destroy the entire Multiverse.
Well, this follows the same trend of this book all right.
Scott Snyder opens a new arc with deals with a brand new concept and I say "brand new concept" very lightly since, as usual, what Snyder does is simply taking an already existing idea and make it bigger to create "the next big story". The Sixth Dimension is probably one of the most glaring examples of that, I thought it was enough to make Perpetua "the mother of the Monitor and Anti-Monitor" but apparently nothing is enough for Snyder since he always have the need to try to expand the scale of each concept without realizing that the only thing he does is disminishing the original concepts by making his new ones more powerful in a shallow way. This is pretty much becoming the Dragon Ball Z of DC Comics.
Not to say that there are not things worth checking out since I believe the interaction between the characters is handled decently (particularly the conversation between Clark and Bruce) and the idea of the future of the Justice League seems intriguing enough.
Jorge Jimenez' pencils are without a doubt the best part of the read thanks to his energetic style that depicts the craziest moments effectively.
Overall, a mixed bag. Let's see how it goes on.
