Who are the new criminals in Gotham?

Batgirl has just stopped a murder attempt just to find herself in the middle of another one constructed by a bunch of bizarre beings.

New storyarc and is interesting so far.

Mairghread Scott delivers a new chapter where she introduces a new organization to Gotham City. The fact that the villains are anthromorphic animals is pretty weird by itself but strangely enough, Scott portrays them as pretty common criminals (at least for Gotham) with their own goals that start to escalate quite quickly.

The story begins exactly where the last one ended with Batgirl saving the new Mayor and now being witness of a new threat. The investigation is well-crafted, Scott goes into solid detail about how Babs could learn where the criminals are and what they plans are which goes into an interesting cliffhanger.

Paul Pelletier handles the art and is really solid with expressive characters and clear storytelling.

Good read, hope things continue this way.
