Some thoughts about Naomi #4

Naomi's origins are finally revealed.

Naomi's parents have been hiding her the truth and it will be even more surprising than she expected.

Yeah, this is starting to get better admitedly.

Brian Bendis and David Walker offer a new installment where they play with the ramifications of the last chapter about Naomi's father being an alien. This is an interesting twist from the classic formula as I mentioned before due that the child is usually the one who is an alien. The fact that her father is from Rann makes this story fit nicely in the DCU due to the implications to classic events like the Rann/Thanagar War along with the inclusion of cosmic heroes like Green Lantern.

The events that lead to Naomi's arrival to Earth continue to be a mystery but it also allows for an interesting exploration of characters like Dee who, while their role are still not fully revealed yet, create a bigger insight to their personalities and works as a set-up.

Jamal Campbell's artwork is still quite impressive thanks to his vibrant style and expressive characters that depict every scene perfectly.

Good issue, hope things continue this way.
