Can Hal Jordan get used to being a Blackstar?

After saving the universe once again, Hal seemingly doesn't remember what happened aside from his current role as a Blackstar. Now they're all willing to be new law around the universe.

As you might already know, I wasn't really a fan of the latter half nor the conclusion of Grant Morrison's The Green Lantern series because it became dull and at the end Morrison pulled a Scott Snyder and mostly created a set-up for the series and question and this issue makes me thing it was all for nothing.

Despite of how lackluster the last series became, it showed a lot of potential early on and had quite a few brilliant issues. That is not present here sadly since neither the premise or cast are as interesting as the ones in Green Lantern, Morrison tried to give the Blackstars some depth last time but it wasn't enough to dedicate a miniseries to them, especially considering that the last one pretty much died to create it.

The premise is about how Hal is trying to live as a Blackstar but obviously his Green Lantern side is starting to appear even if he doesn't know it. There are a few interesting threats they have to face like Mongul who, fair enough, is solidly portrayed and the characters deal with him in their own no nonsense way. Still not enough to be invested in them though.

Xermanico handles the art and he offers a similar style as Liam Sharp, being able to create bizarre sci-fi situations with a detailed style.

Not bad, not great, not sure how it will go on.
