Some thoughts about Batman/Superman #7

What are General Zod's plans?

Ra's Al Ghul has arrived to ask for both Batman and Superman's help concerning his Lazarus Pits and the danger Zod could exploit from it.

This story opens in a pretty interesting manner.

Joshua Williamson brings a new storyarc where he implements a few plot-points from other books. The core of this arc actually comes from Brian Bendis' Man of Steel miniseries that saw the destruction of the city of Kandor and as usual, Williamson tries to take the best from a bad situation by creating a solid motivation for Zod that launches the direction of this plot which logically involves Ra's Al Ghul.

Not the only reference here since Williamson even implements the Kryptonite Man that goes way back from Grant Morrison's Action Comics run I believe, showing how much respect he pays to continuity. There's also the little character moments like how Ra's drinks tea even in a tense moment with Batman which is a nice touch.

Nick Derington handles the art and is pretty solid with a pretty clean yet detailed style that offers clear storytelling.

Good read, hope things stay this way.
