Can Green Lantern face a Superman?
Hyperman and his family have arrived to Earth to kill Hal and there might be not hope to survive such powerful beings.

This chapter focuses on the cliffhanger of the last one with the mysterious Clark Kent look-alike appearing out of nowhere turning out to be Hyperion, a Superman-like being. Hyperion himself is a pretty obscure character and concept and thus, it makes sense for Morrison to use him, in fact Morrison creates an interesting exploration of the idea of an evil Superman while making him different from what he did with Ultraman from the Crime Syndicate. The addition of Hyperman's family also presents an interesting background for the villain.
The encounter between Hal and Hyperman is nicely executed with a great sense of tension due to the power level of the antagonist and the writer manages to test Hal to his limits and the resolution is satisfying.
Liam Sharp handles the art and he demonstrates how flexible he can be by creating a style somehow similar to Jack Kirby's here. If anything, I think this series has made a Sharp a more experimental artist.
