Who can help the Outlaws now?

Jason and his friends have barely escaped Trigon while Bizarro is fighting against him. Now they can only be saved by familiar faces.

Yeah, this is actually getting better.

Scott Lobdell offers a new installment where he escalates the story pretty quickly. Right from the beginning you get the clue that this might be connected to the past because of the appearance of the original Outlaws, Jason, Roy and Kory which is a nice reference to the first book and reminds me how well Lobdell handled these characters back then. It all pays off towards the end in a pretty interesting way.

The plot offers more content this time in terms of action and character moments, I especially digged the fight between Bizarro and Trigon that ends in a pretty quick and hilarious manner.

Paolo Pantalena handles the art and is pretty good with a kinetic style pretty reminiscent of Keneth Rocafort's and thus, pretty fitting for the book.

Good read, hope things continue this way.
