How can the Shazam family defeat Mr. Mind?

Billy's dad has been possessed by the ruler of the Monsterlands and now Billy will have to find a way to stop him without hurting anybody.

This series returns and this time properly.

While the last issue was filler (and one of the worst fillers I've read in quite a while), this one is once again handled by Geoff Johns and is pretty obvious from start to finish. Johns continues the story right from the cliffhanger of his last chapter with the revelation that Mr. Mind has been controlling Billy's dad all this time. The appearance of the classic Captain Marvel/Shazam rogue gallery is always appreciated and we see some glances of a bigger story for a few of them like how King Kull mentions he used to rule the Earthlands.

The pacing of the battle is well-handled as expected from Johns and includes solid character moments concerning the theme of family while the set-up for an even bigger fight is created and yes, it obviously involves Superboy Prime.

Dale Eaglesham returns to art duties and his work is still pretty solid with a great level of expression and clear storytelling.

Good read, hope the next one doesn't take too long this time.
