How can Superman help Fate?

Xanadoth is coming for the Helmet of Fate and Clark now will have to do something despite of his weakness against magic.

Hey, this one was actually satisfying.

Brian Bendis concludes this little this story in a very different way than usual, pretty quickly. The battle against Xanadoth for the Helmet of Fate has a pretty good sense of escalation and most importantly doesn't overstay its welcome, it even presents some cool moments between Superman and Doctor Fate. I'm not accustomed to this kind of read in Bendis' books.

The dialogue also works surprisingly nicely to depict all the characters while revealing what has been happening in this situation. Mind you, there's a lot of dialogue and a lot of it is backstory but at least it doesn't take the whole issue and it actually offers a few funny lines here and there.

Kevin Maguire handles the main segments with John Timms helping with a few scenes and they both do a solid job but Maguire is definitely the best thanks to his great range of expressions.

Good read, not sure if things will stay this way though.
