How can Hal Jordan save people if he's dead now?
The fight against Qwa-Man has made Hal return to the land of the dead where the Guardians have a new mission for him but he believes there is another way to handle this.
This series continues to consistently improve.Grant Morrison offers a new installment where he plays with the ramifications of the last one concerning the new death of Hal. Morrison implements this idea by putting Hal in a conflict with the forces of the Guardians and even himself, especially himself in fact due that the writers brings back many of his different incarnations to confront him and reinforce the theme of how divided he is, I must say it was fun to see the current Hal fighting against "Grey Temples" Hal.
And I'm sorry but I need to mention how right I was when I said that Morrison was willing to bring back all of Hal's past love interests because here he references even more of them but now I realize that the previous appearance were not just random cameos, they serve to reinforce the theme of Hal being defined by his relationships. Good stuff.
Liam Sharp handles the art and I'm impressed at how flexible his style can be due that he can make it surreal during the most spiritual scenes to the point that is almost unrecognizable from his classic style.
Good read, can't wait for the next one.
