How can Batman protect his people?

Jace is still trying to save the couple who killed the murderer of their child despite of what could happen, even if his own loved ones are in the way.

Still consistent, no surprise there.

John Ridley apparently finishes his story about Jace Fox as Batman and does it in a rather appropriate way. If there's a complaint I have is that the whole cliffhanger about the couple betraying Jace for their own sake lasted very little and seemed almost like a waste of time but at the very least served to build-up the sacrifice of one of them. The dynamic between the Fox family remains strong and that puts Jace in a very interesting dilemma which the author knows how to exploit. Laura Braga's art is solid with expressive characters and detailed storytelling.

Vita Ayala's Batgirls story also concludes and while I still don't buy her potrayal of Stephanie, the rest of the cast get good characterization and the theme of staying together is well-executed while also showcasing a few charming personal moments. Aneke's definitely sells those moments thanks to the clean and beautiful style.

Finally Paula Sevenbergen brings a story about the Gotham City Sirens consisting of Catwoman, Poison Ivy and... Dee Dee Prime. Sure, one would expect Harley here too but there's a point for the brand new character appearance here (and Harley does get a nice reference), not to mention that the writer creates a good dynamic between the whole group while maintaining the personalities of the well-known anti-heroines. Emanuela Lupacchino's art is always pleasent to see with beautiful characters and clear storytelling.

Good good read, definitely one of the best Future State titles.
