Some thoughts about The Flash #771

What is the future of Wally West?

Wally continues to be lost, not only in different timelines but also in different universes and just when he thinks he finally gets a moment of peace with his loved ones, he will get transported to one of his worst moments.

Same as usual I guess.

Just as I mentioned last time, I was really excited for the premise that Jeremy Adams was going for with Wally being reincarnated this time in a Superfriends-like version of The Reverse-Flash with the cartoony Legion of Doom at all and there are a few fun moments here and there but then again, the execution can still be sometimes lacking, particularly when Adams tries to be "funny" which reminds me when Sam Humphries tries to do the same which only ends in cringey results.

Mind you, I do appreciate Adams' intentions concerning the direction, especially when it leads to a possible future where Wally's children are alive and happy, showing how much theyr appreciate him and his work as as hero which demonstrates that Adams has a basic understanding of how the character works despite that his craft might not be the best at it.

Oh, and another cliffhanger that might be interesting which I also enjoy from this run.

Kevin Maguire drawing the Superfriends section was a joy to watch thanks his great range of expressions, Howard Porter, Scott Kolins, Bryan Hitch and Fernando Pasarin have solid contributions, Berat Pekmezci I think draws the segment of Wally's children (I think) and the semi-cartoony style really works here, the Barry scenes are barely worth mentioning though.

Decent enough overall, let's see where that terrible event leads to.
