Batman is decided to use Killer Croc to calm down the strange being that has been causing murders around the city but even his plans might go out of control.

Garth Ennis offers a new chapter that, while pretty much following the same premise as the last couple, still manages to be entertaining. Once again, Ennis demonstrates his expertize at creating the jerkiest Batman ever and is a joy to watch him manipulate and mentally torture criminals to save the city (and in hindsight this portrayal makes sense considering this has been Batman's M.O. right from the beginning). The dynamic between Bruce and Killer Croc is especially fun because of how dumb and silly the latter is portrayed and Bruce can barely tolerate his cowardice, fortunately this is all justified because, as the protagonist says: "After all the trouble you have given me over the years, can you blame me for enjoying this?".

Is also great that Ennis doesn't take Batman seriously since there are many points where the author references how much of a monster he can be while showing his weakness for innocent people (no matter how dumb they can be). If there's a complaint here though, is that this is basically more of the same we have seen for a few chapter and I wish there was more diversity in the scenarios to show actual plot progression.

Liam Sharp remains in art duties and his work is still both gothic and bizarre when is needed but at times it can be a little too dark to the point where is difficult to see what's actually happening.

Still, pretty solid read. Hope the next one offers more.
