Who is controlling Batman Incorporated?
Luthor's involvement in Abyss' attack has been revealed and now is up to Bruce to find a solution for everything before anyone gets killed.
This little arc comes to a conclusion in a satisfying manner.Joshua Williamson offers a new installment where he ends some of the plot-points that he has been working on in a kinda quick manner which makes sense considering how it has been announced that Chip Zdarsky will be the next Batman writer. That doesn't mean that there's a lack of quality here though since what we have here gets the job done in terms of both character and plot, I really dig the interactions between Bruce and the rest of Batman Inc. The way how such plot-point gets resolved is logical in a very Batman way and progresses the story appropriately.
About the antagonist, Abyss proves to be serviceable but the real star here is Luthor who gets a pretty solid portrayal over the course of the issue, very calm and in a kinda morally grey portrayal in the same vein as how Geoff Johns would have written him. Wouldn't mind to see Williamson keep writing Lex in the future.
Also, thank God that cover was a lie and Ghost-Maker didn't have a proper role here.
Jorge Molina and Mikel Janin share the pencils and they both do a great job both in terms of storytelling and tone.
Good read, shame that Williamson won't be on the long run but as long as this allows him to do better in other projects I'm all for it.
