The Kingdoms are trying to figure out who killed King Jefferson and Kal-El is willing to find out who the actual culprit is but by doing so he will soon be at the hands of the Amazons.
Still progressing slowly with a "twist" that is starting to get more and more obvious.Tom Taylor offers a new installment where he focuses on both character work and little bits that reveal more of the upcoming plot. The characterization is fine, there are a few solid moments concerning John Constantine both in terms of his own development around the story while Taylor puts all the key players in place to build-up for the upcoming war between Kingdoms.
On the other hand, everything is getting too predictable. Is clear that someone is manipulating everyone to make people believe the Els are at fault and all things considered, is not much better than simply making Supergirl go crazy since is still pretty blatant and makes me wonder why the hell they decided to give such a simple story 12 frikking issues.
Never have a complaint towards Yasmine Putri's art which remains beautiful, showing perfect storytelling and action scenes.
Aside from that, this is just dragging and I'm not sure how Taylor is going to keep readers invested here.
