What are the ramifications of Deathstroke's death?

Geo-Force's plans are coming to fruition and now is willing to conclude his mission but both Batman and Robin are not going to let him cause any more harm.

This crossover comes to a conclusion in a... serviceable way I guess.

Joshua Williamson delivers the final chapter by exploring the reasons behing Geo-Force change of character and is pretty appropriate considering his own history. The destruction of Markovia and what happened to Terra eventually corrupted Brion, showing once again how Williamson uses continuity in favor of his stories (Hell, he even referenced the time Brion fought Slade on his own which was written by Brad Meltzer years ago I believe), Brion turned into a villain is not that hard to believe and might turn out more interesting a character that rarely has any relevance.

About the plot itself, is less impressive. The finale is pretty much what you would expect with the villain explaining his motivations and everyone trying to stop him, so is pretty much by the numbers in that regard. The best part comes from the character work due that the development between Bruce and Damian continues and the latter shows a greater growth than anyone else involved here (which is once again appropriate considering how Williamson has been writing Robin). This also leads to yet another big crossover which is not a direction I particularly like but eh, I guess is something common at this point.

Stephen Segovia, Mike Henderson and Howard Porter share the pencils and the overall tone of the issue is pretty consistent with a heavy emphasis on action scenes.

As a whole, I thought this crossover was fine, it had great chapters despite that the ending wasn't that great. Hope future crossovers fare better.
