Can Young Justice truly go back to normal?

After their failed reunion, the team is trying to figure out what to do next, especially now that their mentors are gone. However, if they want to start again they will have to go back to their beginnings.

I'm glad to have these characters back together even for a little while. As we all know, Brian Bendis' era on the team left a lot to be desired and it seemed like nobody wanted to handle them once again. Fortunately, Meghan Fitzmartin seems to have a premise with potential so far.

Suited around the crossover Dark Crisis, this story deals with the ramifications of the death of the Justice League and how Young Justice in particular react to it. The writer seems to have the basics of the characters right but with some of the details a bit mixed (for example, I highly doubt that either Kon or Bart would be particularly lost after losing Clark or Barry considering they never were that close to them) and a few of their traits being overblown. However, while some of the characterization can be dubious, is compensated with a great attention to continuity due that the writer reflects on a lot of the most important moments in their history including the times each one of them died and even forgotten characters like Cissie/Arrowette.

The best part for me though, comes when we go back to the 90s (Young Justice's Golden Age) and a lot of those details are brought back like Superboy's time in Hawai or Bart training under Max Mercury. Hell, even their very first adventure is referenced including the ridiculous first villain Peter David created for them. There's a lot of 90s love going on here.

Laura Braga handles the art and is pretty solid with great expressions and clear storytelling.
