Getting a bit repetitive but not necessarily bad.
Mark Waid offers a new installment where he explores more of the mystery of what's happening to Billy's alter ego. First of all, I must say that the constant mentions of "The Captain" are probably going to old very fast due to how much Waid wants to push it and is especially bad because of the very unimaginative way Waid introduced the name in the first chapter as I mentioned previously. That being said, the dynamic between the whole family is enjoyable overall and the appearance of even more space dinosaurs shows that the writer knows what works.
The story is starting to dwell a bit too much into the whole "Shazam loses control of his emotions". Sure it presents a different angle of it with the Psycho-Pirate of course but it was pretty obvious right from the beginning he didn't cause such change and we're not getting any more answers about it. What we do get are a couple of epilogues and hopefully they will reveal more interesting ideas in the future.
Dan Mora remains in art duties and his work is still amazing with beautiful characters and a vibrant style.
Decent overall but I need more than decent from this series.
