Some thoughts about The Terrifics #8

The Terrifics will have to visit bizarre worlds.

The team has finally found Tom Strong and now they will have to find a way to escape through multiple dimensions.

A short, yet fun installment.

Jeff Lemire offers a new chapter where he exploits the concept of the Multiverse but not the usual one. The appearance of Tom Strong allows for a good range of possibilities concerning other realities and thankfully Lemire creates a few inventive ones including an Aztec Empire-inspired world and even better, a cartoony one where anthropomorphic superhero animals live which is perfect for Plastic Man.

The main plot doesn't progress much though, it allows for a few fun adventures but the team still hasn't moved too much from where they started. That being said, a few sub-plots do progress like how the team are able to be separated now and some of the supporting cast appear here.

Dale Eaglesham handles the art and he's fantastic, beautiful and imposing characters along with entertaining scenes.

Good read, hope the next one offers more progression though.
