Can the Titans go back to their own world?

Mother Blood is gaining control over life and the only way to defeat her is if the creator of this alternate reality realizes what's happening.

This story coming to an end and there are a few things to enjoy here actually.

Dan Abnett is closing the door on this book by delivering ideas that many readers were asking for and I don't necessarily mean about the story. The plot still revolves around the threat of Mother Blood and how she's becoming more and more powerful thanks to her influence over The Red (which has been a concept really ignored pretty much since the end of Animal Man's last series) and the action is really fast-paced.

The best part though, is how Abnett goes completely meta once that the metahuman writer who created this imaginary world realizes that his own creation lacked the substance necessary to be actually compelling and says something like: "Is my fault. Shoddy writing. No wonder the series never found an audience" and really, what else can Abnett be referring but this series itself. It takes a lot of courage to take criticism like a man and admit when things have gone wrong.

Then again, the fault doesn't fall completely on Abnett's hands, editorial also played a huge role on the failure of this book due to its constant change of directions and things that affected the team outside the book. Is a real shame overall.

Bruno Redondo handles the art and is pretty solid thanks to his expressive characters and vibrant style.

Not bad, mostly because of the flaws being addressed. Let's wait for the end.
