The Clown Prince of Crime has finally captured Harley but there's more about him than she expected.
Boy, this story took a quite surprising turn.
Frank Tieri delivers the final chapter of this miniseries and does so in ways that puts everything that has happened in a new context. The truth about how the Joker is alive is finally revealed and also reveals what actually happened to Harley before all this post-apocalyptic future, is a development that is honestly much more serious than I was expecting, one that paints both the protagonist and the antagonist in a much more complex manner and gives a sense of depth to what so far has been a rather lighthearted story.
But things are far from over here since Tieri is heavily teasing that there is going to be some sort of sequel focusing on a few concepts he left unexplored and considering how solid this conclusion was, I more than welcome it.
Inaki Miranda and Tom Derenick share the pencils and the result is a pretty solid looking chapter full of expressive characters and clear storytelling.
Better than expected, hope the sequel is just as good.
