Some thoughts about Wonder Woman #65

How can Wonder Woman defeat Nemesis?

Veronica Cale has decided to destroy Diana and to do so she will unleash a creature of pure hate and Diana will have to face her the only way she can.

This issue had some of the usual flaws but still worked better than previous offerings.

G. Willow Wilson delivers a new installment where she explores more about the return of Veronica Cale and her revenge against Diana. Credit where credit is due, I think this works from a character stand-point due that Wilson delivers really accurate Wonder Woman traits like her compassion and her ability to empathize even with her enemies, the way how she faces Cale perfectly reflects that.

That being said, the superheroic moments still continue to be by the numbers and don't offer much excitement. Again, this has never been one of Wilson's strengths so I wasn't expecting much but it doesn't stop it from being boring.

Jesus Merino's artwork is serviceable as always, never particularly bad nor great.

Adequate I guess? Still not sure what to expect.
