The remaining Justice League are trying their best to survive but they were not counting with some of their most powerful members getting infected.
Penultimate chapter and things continue to escalate appropriately.
Tom Taylor offers a new installment where he shows how bad things can actually get in this world. There are solid moments of characterization as usual when the cast has to deal with this bleak reality and Taylor can write a good Superman and nails his interactions with the rest of the cast being with either his family or his archenemy. The conversation he had at the end and the resolution were engaging.
If I had a complaint though is that Taylor writes an entertaining enough Luthor but not a particularly complex one since he's the stereotypical jealous douche who we have seen way too many times before, someone who can't help but taking jabs at Superman and doesn't show any redeemable qualities before his death. This is not much of a surprise though since Taylor is not really good at writing deep villains (and this actually reminds me of his take on Terry Sloane in Earth 2).
Trevor Hairsine remains in art duties and his work is still pretty appropriate here thanks to the rough style that gets the bloody scenes really well.
Good read, hope the conclusion is satisfying.
