Can Red Hood survive another attack of the Joker?

Jason has just survived another dimension and now will have to face one of his oldest enemies along with familiar faces.

This was solid character work if anything.

Scott Lobdell offers a new installment where he plays with the ramifications of Joker War. Mind you, this feels a bit out of place considering this happens right in the middle of yet another storyline of this book but the writer does the best he can with the material. The portrayals are really enjoyable, particularly the flashbacks where we see the dynamic between Jason and Bruce and if there's something I can say about Lobdell is that he always wrote a pretty likable Batman.

The story is centered around the Joker's attack involving the already overused Punchline (which Jason funnily enough doesn't even want to know her name) and Dick Grayson somehow (I don't know, haven't read Nightwing in ages). The biggest surprise here though is the appearance of Joker's Daughter which I thought disappeared forever, then again, Lobdell wrote her for a while and she complements the ongoing theme.

Brett Booth handles the art and he does a decent job with kinetic action scenes and clear enough storytelling.

Good read, hope the final arc is satisfying.
