What does Superman need?

Synmar has recruited Clark to help his race and Lois will make an article what Superman means to the whole world.

Hey, this was actually half-decent.

Brian Bendis is closing the door on his work on Superman (and thank God he is) by describing exactly what he thinks about the character and quite honestly, it just feels right. Lois' article where she explains the importance of her husband as well as how much the entire planet matters to him touches all the right notes and ends in a heartwarming manner. While Bendis' work had many, MANY flaws, I always thought he handled the idea of Superman fairly appropriately.

That doesn't completely compensate for the usual problems though that are yet another mindless battle with narration on top of it to try to disguise it as something compelling, you might as well read the actual article because nothing interesting happens besides of it.

Ivan Reis' art is spectacular though with beautiful characters and precise storytelling.

Not bad but not enough to salvage this entire era.
