What is Henry Bendix hiding?

Jon has found out that the mother of his new boyfriend suddenly disappeared because of Bendix' actions and now is going to do whatever it takes to find out what happened.

A bit better than the last one but, as usual with Tom Taylor, not without issues.

The biggest improvement that you can find compared to the last chapter is that this has overall much more content, which is not something hard to do mind you since barely anything happened in the previous issue, but it still offers good plot-progression in quite a few different segments. It was also cool to see more of the past of Jon's boyfriend since gives his character more depth.

Then again, this comes along with the oh, so lovable "Taylorisms". Particularly the portrayal of Damian Wayne who makes a brief appearance here and goes grinning all the way after figuring out what's happening currently between Jon and his boyfriend. It was pretty obvious that Taylor doesn't understand Damian when he wrote him during DCeased but this is especially bad here because we're talking about the Damian who is barely getting over his cold side in Joshua Williamson's Robin (in which his history and characterization are properly respected). Not to mention that the "twist" (If you can even call it that) about the boyfriend's mother was so obvious that it hurts.

John Timms' art continues to be decent with a pretty flexible style and clear action scenes.

Not bad but there are still things that pisses me off. Let's see what happens next.
